• Event details (date, venue, package, messages, playlist choices)
• Payment references (e.g. PayPal / bank) — we do not store full card numbers on our servers when you pay via PayPal

We only ask for what we need to run the booking and event.

2. Why we use it

• To create and manage your account
• To process and deliver your booking with UPARTY York
• To contact you about the booking (email / SMS / phone)
• To operate the Playlist Builder and related tools
• To improve the service and keep the system secure

We do not use your email or mobile for marketing lists.

3. Who sees your data

• HQ technical/admin systems as needed to run the platform
• UPARTY York (to deliver your event)
• Payment providers (e.g. PayPal) under their own policies
• Law enforcement or regulators if required by law

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies and analytics

The site may use essential cookies to keep you logged in and make the site work. If analytics tools are enabled, they may collect technical data to understand site use. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

5. How long we keep data

We keep booking and account data as long as needed for the booking, records, disputes, and legal or accounting needs, then delete or anonymise when no longer required.

You may complain to the ICO if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data. No online system is 100% secure.

8. Children

Our services are aimed at adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect data from children for accounts.
